THE ACQUISITION OF THE TDU-SERIES THERMAL RECORDER

- E. Walpole, MA, USA--Ocean Data Equipment announces their
acquisition of the thermal display products business group of Raytheon (Recorder
Operations, Portsmouth, R.I.).
Industry standard products, including the TDU-850, TDU-1200,
TDU-1200F, and TDU-2000 will now be manufactured at ODEC's East Walpole, Massachusetts
facility. |

 | TDU-850
Direct thermal recorder with true grey shade capability, a
printing width of 8.5 inches and 1,728 pixels per line (203 pixels per inch). Number of
grey shades printed is selectable from 2 (black and white), up to 256 shades. Master or
Slave interfacing modes.

|
Direct thermal
recorder with true grey shade capability, a printing width of 12 inches and 3,552 pixels
per line (300 pixels per inch) and 256 grey levels. (Line feed rates of 200 or 100 lpi,
switch selectable)

Flatbed Thermal
Recorder with a print width of 12 inches and a 14 inch long display platen. The extended
platen and internal take-up/storage feature make the TDU-1200F ideal for field use in
seismic, sonar and GPR applications. The printed line contains 3,552 pixels (300 pixels
per inch).

- The extended platen and internal take-up/storage feature make the
TDU-2000F ideal for field use in seismic, sonar and GPR applications.
