A few words from Marie
- My colleagues can hardly believe this good fortune! "
"I am a technician/ lnstructor with the Marine Technology Program at Cape Fear
Community College in Wilmington, NC. We prepare students for employment as
technicians in the marine scientific community. Our training includes a unique blend
of traditional, scientific, technical and vocational marine education. Our program
is a very hands-on, skills oriented kind of program. All of our students spend a
minimum of 30 days at sea, aboard our own ocean-going vessel, during their two years
in the program. In addition to the 85 ft. Dan Moore, we also operate a 53 ft.
estuarine research vessel and a variety of smaller craft. So, as you can see, we
have a need for, and are very, very, excited over winning the Bathy-500 Multi-Frequency
Survey Echo Sounder." |
